The detection and defense against micro-drones used for criminal or terrorist purposes is becoming increasingly important. With our optical devices and the associated software solutions, it is possible to automatically detect and track even small and agile objects (e.g., drones). Our devices can be used, for example, to secure airspace at airports or other infrastructure-critical areas and, through autonomous drone detection, can quickly identify dangerous objects in the field of view. The tracking function can be adjusted (trained) for a wide variety of objects and can also distinguish between multiple objects or people and track them separately. To determine the position and distance of an object or person, we offer automated solutions for referencing legally secure images and videos with metadata, geodata, and distance information. Target distance measurement is possible with some of our systems (such as MODAR) using an integrated laser rangefinder.
